“Beginning-Middle-End” by Aaron D. Wiegert

Hope is but a daily
Glance toward tomorrow
And tomorrow the same.

We have one angle
To make our music,
With a broken megaphone

The script expands
And contracts
On the cutting floor.

A tablet of wax
Softened by each exposure.
We lead ourselves in

To where were began,
Awaiting the call
For action.
